Beyond work

Married to a wonderful woman, comfortably the best call I've ever made. We share the place with Diesel, a Schipperke who is ten months old and, in the fine tradition of the breed, showed up without a tail. He has never once let that slow him down.

Before tech, I spent fifteen years behind a bar. Bartending turned out to be solid product training: you learn to read people fast, keep your cool in a rush, and care about how something is served, not just what is in the glass.

These days I cycle, play basketball, and boulder, which is a generous way of saying I fall off walls on purpose. When I'm indoors I cook, and lately I've been fermenting things, most of which we actually eat.

Two things I keep meaning to start and blaming startup life for not starting: learning to drive a car (yes, still no license), and learning to play drums. My neighbors are grateful for the delay.

Based in Israel, where the hills are great for cycling and the summers are a personality test.
